International Compliance Association (ICA) reviews

4.9 (477 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Practical, scenario-based learning is the provider’s clearest strength: attendees say real-life cases, immersive exercises, breakout discussions and knowledgeable tutors make complex compliance topics engaging and easy to apply at work. They value clear, well-structured materials, approachable trainers who explain patiently and welcome questions, and sessions that are organised and informative. Reviews also highlight useful peer perspectives and increased confidence in professional roles, though assessment results can take too long.

I was really impressed by the quality of the course. I would do this mandatory for all directors of firms.

Unfortunately I could only attend the first live course classroom, as my employers advised the course had to be done in my own time and whilst this is clearly not your issue, I was rather apprehensive in completing via the catch up recordings but the website was simple to navigate along with watching the virtual classrooms which still gave me all the information I required which was very welcome.

The text was written in complicated language, it could be explained with much easier understandable words.

As I mentioned previously, it would be great to have more time to study and perhaps to include some of the questions from the final test in our practice test :-)

It's a very long training, I don't know what's the average completion time but it's about 40h studies to complete the learning process. Of course it can be read just within several hours but when one is not familiar with the topic it takes time to learn as it's not only a question of reading. As the topic was new to me although I have extensive knowledge on AML, I found it very interesting to start with the history of terrorism explaining the differences within each terrorist groups and activities. That sets a strong foundation at the beginning before assessing and understanding each risk and consequences.
