My book didn't come until quite late into the course so that was why I didn't score 5 and of course because we had to complete the course online. I think it's always easier if you are in a room together however it did still work really well. Ross did a great job of informing, co-ordinating and bringing us together in an environment where we felt we could trust and share stories with each other which I think gave us all an enriched experience.
I really appreciated being walked through all the situations and seeing the material and getting hands on experience. I've done this training a few times, but each time I do it, it becomes more settled in my brain and makes me way more capable or responding appropriately when needed.
Mick made the course a lot more enjoyable and it was because of his analogies and jokes along the way it helped to take all the information in. It wasn’t boring or didn’t drag on because of him
Ian was excellent despite some obvious IT issues which were not his fault. . He was patient, kind and professional with a mix of telling and showing us plus us practising when we needed to. Just what I needed. I had paid for a separate paediatric first aid course which was integrated into the main one on the day. The content was sufficient BUT I had paid extra for a separate hour and feel I have been overcharged. The email communication before the course was not so good . I had issues paying for the two courses which were easily resolved but frustrating and didn’t receive joining instructions until I requested them the day before. Again response to my query was quick and professional but irritating to have to follow up. Thank you
Only disappointment is that we have still not received our certificates so we can prove completion
Course was good, but questions were badly written and concentrated on negative answers which dosent prove anything
The course had just gone onto an online assessment after the physical part of our course - we had to do this on our mobile phones. It would be good it we had been told beforehand and given the chance to sign on beforehand, as that would save time + ensure we all knew we needed to bring a charged smartphone. A small booklet for revising the essential info should be given to take away so that learners can refresh knowledge periodically. I forget things almost immediately after learning them! Otherwise a good course though, good content despite having to adapt a lot because of Covid.
