I thought the training was comprehensive - I had zero First Aid training prior to attending and now feel much more informed. Mark was an engaging trainer who knew the course material well. The venue was ok. I think 3 days is a long time and would have rather attended for 2 days. I rated the content and materials 3/5 as I was disappointed that there were no handouts and not even a notepad and pen (which wasn't made clear in the joining instructions). Mark did not use the slides because he was so familiar with them however I would have found it helpful if Mark had recapped each section with a quick run through of the slides. Thank you for providing me with a good understanding of First Aid.
George's communication style, responsiveness to staff questions and wealth of experience made the First Aid sessions the enjoyable and relevant. Over the years I have attended at least 5 different versions of first aid and paediatric first aid courses. It was refreshing to have George's input regarding specific staff questions, especially regarding first aid post-covid. Thank you for sharing you expertise and anecdotes. It made both sessions relevant and memorable.
