The trainer wasn't very engaging. He came across conceited. First practical task we had to do I missed a step, I was then accosted for "not paying attention". This was humilating and he kept going on with himself. Personally I thought he must have been having a bad day but why being it to work. What became more apparent was when other course members made mistakes, they didn't get the luxury of experiencing Jack exposing the best parts of his personality..patronising & cantankerous. The trainer also struggled with basic technology. He struggled to grasp the concept of screen sharing with his laptop. This slowed the tempo of the course down and another colleague on the course had to show him what button to press. Oops. The trainer is undoubtedly a Jack off all trades and a master of none.

The course was very interactive, and Carol made us all feel comfortable from the first moment she introduced herself to the candidates. Carol was happy to answer our questions during the 3 days and would discuss topics at break times as well. The course overall was well worth attending and I would recommend it to others. Thank you Carol and all those at Green Cross.

The Trainer was very knowledgeable in theory practice and in the practical exercise. Also the Trainer was very Professional as the class was a mix of different people skills, and he remained calm at all times and with a good sense of humour, and also helped with some IT issues! Anita was very knowledgeable and informative about everything First Aid. She helped me greatly in understanding everything I wanted to get out of the course, especially having a young baby at home. I would recommend the course to anyone who wants to learn and help others
