Content covered well with adequate homework and time to complete work. Went at a good pace through the lesson and Matt is very hands on to assist people with the individual issues they are having (and very quick to find the solution!)
The course has proved useful in providing a breakdown of key modelling techniques/templates and concepts. Matt has been extremely engaging and useful as a trainer
Super kind instructor though it feels a bit rushed - but I guess that's understandable given the amount of content. It is also good that we get to keep the content.
Very well structured, for me personally a great review on many different concepts in modelling, LBO, and M&A.
- Zuzanna is a great trainer, I really enjoyed working with her and would recommend her all the time. - The training is a good knowledge freshup and provides several helpful tweaks. - However, several parts are not relevant to Ufenau, especially M&A Models for listed companies with all the EPS, P/E effects etc., but this was most likely more of a communication thing in context of the training prep.
5 star for Johnny. Course a little too simple.
Great course - I found the shortcuts taught at the start of Thursday useful for me. Some parts such as the Data Table might have been too fast. I have also learned a lot about the three financial statements from my previous job in Accounting and Deals.
Associate Accounting half day - good refresher, made quite dry content pretty interesting and engaging, but not sure how relevant it was to learning excel? Modeling day - learnt a lot, liked how it started from the ground (i.e., didn't assume any prior knowledge), learnt a lot of shortcuts quickly. Pacing maybe slightly too fast towards end of day. Would also suggest maybe moving away from the specific knowledge of accounting and finance to focus just on the excel skills Advanced Excel - even better than yesterday, due to looser focus on accounting and finance and more focus on excel skills
Senior Associate. Accounting: N/a (wasn't able to attend) Modeling: really insightful day and engaging. The first half of the day was easy to follow but the final session was quick. I was able to keep up but it would have been helpful to have more time to digest the information. Advanced Excel: again, really insightful day. Enjoyed the content and examples. There was more time to digest information and ask questions during this session Overall, the tutor was great and if anyone had issues there was always someone at hand to quickly help out. It may have been useful to spread it across 3 days.
