Good class, a lot of info. Can be challenging to understand methodology and reasons behind actions when you're hyper focused on "doing " yourself and trying to follow the instructor vs just listening/watching then doing
Serge Vidal is a great instructor. He is open and friendly, so it is easy to rely on him as a resource and gain a better understanding of the material. He is very experienced and helpful, being able to correct mistakes in a model quickly. Sometimes, however, the material is lacking. The wording is sometimes off. The exams feel a bit contrived. We are not always tested on what we learn.
As a person from a non-finance background, I have truly learned a lot about financial accounting and financial modeling. Amit delivered all materials with a clear and engaging manner.
Great introduction and very knowledgeable trainer
Great course overall for an introduction to finance, accounting, and modeling. To that end, the pace is definitely slow for someone versed in these subjects, so it may be more helpful to have a beginner and an intermediate course. Overall, however, I thought the course was very well organized and Amit was both a great communicator and teacher!
