The content was good on the learning events and webinars, but overall there wasn't much interaction with other students on the course or any other coaches, other than a half an hour tutorial every 3 weeks.
Pat's teaching style was excellent. He explained complex topics in a simple, easy to understand way and took his time to make sure everyone understood before moving on. The pace of the course was just right, and I left feeling much more confident for my exam.
The course was very informative and interesting - kept relevant by Dave, who also gave us a lot of tips on how to remember specific things. It really helped me to understand the content properly and also to solidify knowledge that I already knew. There was a lot of interactivity and personally extremely helpful.

I found the course really useful. I originally studied CeMAP 1 with Simply Academy back in 2020 when I was just starting my journey into financial advice. Since then, I've managed to study independently and complete other qualifications myself, so I hadn't returned for any further courses. However, I was finding DipFA Investment more challenging to self-study, so I decided to give the course a go—and I'm really glad I did. David has a great way of making complex topics easy to understand and, more importantly, memorable. His teaching style is engaging, interactive and full of useful techniques for remembering key information, which made a real difference. I'd definitely recommend the course to anyone studying for DipFA.
Pat delivered an excellent Equity Release course that was informative, engaging, and easy to follow. The content was explained clearly, and real-life examples helped reinforce the learning.
