I wish the course trainer could stay on the topic and cover the breadth and the depth with appropriate examples rather than his personal, would be great. I wish specimen Q were a bit more and closer to what the actual exam pattern is.

The CeMAP 2&3 live webinar with Luke is highly informative and well-structured. Luke's expertise and engaging approach makes the course contents easy to understand.

David was a great trainer, however where the course was let down: Too many attendants on the course, made asking questions difficult, I would have expected the course to be more personal at the cost. Issuing of books rather than all digital would have been better, this resorted in me requiring to print al the packs, at the cost paid I would have expected this be be prepared.

It was a really insightful course and Alan who did my CeMAP 1 was so understanding and broke things down into manageable chunks.

I found some of the work given to me wasn't always relevant to the course I was on, so at times I was questioning why I needed to complete it. That being said the support and help I received from my tutor, Margaret Bloor, was exceptional. She was understanding and supportive at all times.

I felt my trainer was generally a nice person but his teaching methods did not suit my learning style. I had hoped for more engagement throughout the course to ensure I could grasp a good understanding (maybe a powerpoint presentation, productive quiz's to test our knowledge after each topic covered). I personally struggle to absorb and retain information when just going through a book and having stories/case studies told as examples. The complete course material did not get covered within the designated week provided and therefore as a whole, I feel that the course should have been extended to ensure all material was explained/understood better and the delivery of the course was adapted to suit different learning styles. After sitting CEMAP 1, I need to resit unit 2 and after sitting CEMAP 2, I need to resit unit 3,4 and 6. It has left me feeling very deflated and frustrated

Trainer wasn’t that great. Pretty much just read directly from the book which could have been done alone at home too. Time wasn’t arranged/organised properly so felt that trainer was rushing to complete and couldn’t answer any questions students had. Maybe make course 7 days instead of 5 days if unable to cover study material. For being so expensive, would’ve expected a bit more Lovely venue, perfect location, polite receptionist with head scarf. Study Material is good. Thank you.

Luke was absolutely fantastic! Made time for everyone, happy to go over things (numerous times in my case!) and was very knowledgeable. I hope he is taking my next course!

I attended the CeRER course after completing CeMAP 1,2 & 3 with SA over the summer and was very happy. I felt the CeRER offered poor value at almost £300 including VAT for a days training from 9am - 4pm. The content which was read from a book and given a test paper with a few hand outs, for the money and group size lunch would be a nice gesture. This wasn't a small group probably 24 people who I don't believe anyone was engaged in the training at all. On a positive note I took the exam 3 days later and passed first time so I guess it was worth the time & investment. I had emailed SA a couple of weeks ago to ask if they'd offer a discount for being a loyal customer to complete the DiPFA course as other companies were significantly cheaper but never had a reply which was disappointing.

I’m sure the trainer knows his stuff, but myself and others just found that reading out of a book the whole time isn’t really what i’d call good training. Might be a bit of a dry subject, but a bit of energy from the trainer would have been good and techniques to make it a bit more memorable as he was doing it. Pete who teaches the cemap courses is good at that.
