The course and in particular Darren were great. Darren really made so many of the elements I had read and had not fully understood make sense. He had some excellent ways of remembering different things which definitely helped me in my exam. Being on Teams was much better than I imagined it would be and Darren did his best to make it as interactive as possible (eg. having his flipchart). Darren was always available before, after and during the breaks on the course to answer anyone's questions. Would 100% recommend this course.

I thoroughly enjoyed the course and got lots from it. The way Darren structures the course is great and it is really engaging throughout. He is able to use his expertise to give hints and tips and also identify areas of particular focus. This was incredibly useful. The pace the material was delivered at was perfect too. The right level of information was given and there was always an opportunity to ask questions. It was a thoroughly enjoyable week which more than prepared me for my examination. Darren is a master of his craft and would recommend his services to anyone undertaking a CII examination. Thanks for all the support and encouragement, Darren.

Darren is great at what he does; from day 1 he made me feel at ease and brought the group in as collective which is hard given the current circumstances of remote activity. Darren broke the content down into manageable chunks with a test at the end which served to test knowledge appropriately. It was very succinct. I liked that Darren brought in real life experiences/examples which enabled you to fully grasp the learning. I didn't know what to expect to be honest but I am definitely impressed.

Found the course really useful. Darren managed to keep us engaged and discussed the information in a way that helped us get a better understanding of why the industry functions in the way that it does. Very pleased.

The course and Eleanor were excellent, i do recognize it's a hard process to complete training online. But and excellent job was done, i am much more confident now than i was with just the book in front of me. The book is not the greatest, and i do not learn just reading from a book, i need to physically do something and to be able to question things don't quite understand. I thought the course went into enough detail and covered as much as we could in the time allocated. Eleanor kept the training enjoyable with a variety of different interactive methods used that meant the day flew by.

Darren did a great job at making things relevant and happily spent more time with anyone looking to go over things in more details. He was extremely patient and nothing was a stupid question. The course was done remotely which I was worried about at first however it felt more relaxed and less pressure than a course in the office. Would recommend remote courses in the future. Favourite part of the week - lunch of the day competition - good way to keep engagement and add a bit of fun.

Cannot recommend the trainer (Darren) enough. He made everything easy to understand and kept everything relevant to the material which really take it all in. He was available for additional support outside of the learning which helped on the day of my exam as I had a few questions.

Before attending the course I felt I had learned very little from the book. It was just words! I would read a page and not be able to recall what I'd just read. Darren was very engaging and understanding and was able to explain in simple terms the key concepts we needed. Great course.
