The trainer was fantastic and brought to life what at times was quite difficult information to get my head round. The knowledge that he had and the way in which he related it to real life situations was massively useful for understanding the subject matter. The course its self was interesting and parts were very relevant to my role however the pacing and the structure sometimes confused things.
We covered all of the material within the allotted time. Course could have been more engaging.
The FA2 book is over-complicated. Tutor was very good.
The course was very informative, helped with a lot of key areas needed - I would say it would be 100% more useful if they done a short course in the beginning which would help when you come to the 4-day course as would boost knowledge / key area research and understanding.
Bridget was wonderful and provided insight and experience to a somewhat dry textbook. Already recommended to colleagues.
The course covered the majority of topics that were within the exam and was well delivered by a trainer who clearly had a wealth of experience and insight. Though a little more time spent on ICOB, MCOB and stamp duty reserve tax would have been beneficial to me. I find it easier to learn from interactivity so more of that would have been good - perhaps using the chapter summary tests within the classroom rather than having them as homework would have helped.
Darren was amazing. Very engaging, great stories to help me remember scenarios and explain concepts. I passed the exam which was also beneficial!
The Intensive revision sessions were really useful. They definitely helped with the Exam. Darren Was very thorough and made a dry subject interesting. I hope he will be the tutor for my next course
I thought my tutor for the course Darren was really helpful and provided a great insight into all the workings and practices within the Financial Services industry and at the same time was able to add some light humour on occasions which did help ease the mood of the study class.
