I feel so much more confident after going on this course. They should make a shortened version of this and make it mandatory for all staff. There was a lot of things i did not know and just assumed so was great in providing clarity. Course instructors were knowledgable and considerate of others.

I found the course to be extremely informative and dispelled the myths that so often surround mental illness. The course manual is an excellent resource and a 'go to' if at any time I find myself uncertain of how to respond to someone in mental distress. The course trainers were all approachable and presented the material covered very well...thank you!

Such a worthwhile course to attend, I really liked the delivery of the training from Steve, specifically the style, pace, and variation of presenting. It gave me confidence for how I would instinctively approach a situation and the questions I would ask and formalised this in some cases.
