Compassionate, knowledgeable trainers make challenging mental-health topics feel safe, accessible and engaging, according to attendees. They value the balance of clear explanation, real-life examples, videos, workbooks, scenarios and group discussion, with inclusive facilitation, regular check-ins and a comfortable pace. Elin was an excellent trainer. A great listener and very positive with everyone's input. The self guided section jumps erratically through the accompanying manual. Within the same heading you might need to reference pg 25 then pg 65. Navigation through the manual is awkward: to get from pg 65 to 150 (required for section 4.3) you need to scroll the mouse wheel (a lot!!). The scroll bar doesn't work and there are no page numbers on it, There is no way to jump to a specified pg. A navigation pane or hyperlinked content page would be useful. it would also be useful to have a downloadable manual so that you could have it open and reference it whilst you were working through the course, rather than having to log into your a/c twice to have both on screen together.

Response: Hi Louise, Thank you for your feedback. To make you aware, this is something we are working on, but in the interim, you are able to navigate to the required page by clicking on the number next to 'page' at the top of the viewer, and typing in the page number. You are also welcome to purchase a hard copy of the manual from us directly at info@mhfawales.org

The course content was great, full of useable advice. Bobbie was a fantastic tutor - empathetic, patient and encouraging.

I found the course really valuable, and Claire was fantastic throughout. She consistently checked in to make sure we were comfortable and engaged. The sessions were very interactive, giving us the opportunity to use our own initiative when answering questions, which made the learning experience even more rewarding.

Steve was absolutely fantastic. Brought up valid speaking points throughout the course that had everyone engaged. Really good to have a refresher every few years to get back into the mindset and continue my journey as a MHFA.
