Compassionate, knowledgeable trainers make challenging mental-health topics feel safe, accessible and engaging, according to attendees. They value the balance of clear explanation, real-life examples, videos, workbooks, scenarios and group discussion, with inclusive facilitation, regular check-ins and a comfortable pace. I am genuinely going to be gutted to go back to my day job on Monday. This was a thoroughly enjoyable week and very well put together.

There's a sense of nervousness to flying solo (with a fellow instructor) but I always have "imposter syndrome" when doing something for the first time, or even after multiple times it can still raise it's ugly head. But keen to get going and seeing how the Mental Health First Aid instructor arena looks like :) Diolch yn fawr/Thank you very much.................

The training is cohesive, engaging and diverse in style (even though delivered online), and the training materials provided to support delivery are helpful and essential trainer tools and very professional. Both Gwen and Rhys have such incredible knowledge, charisma and approachability. They create such a safe space to allow participants to develop both personally and professionally. Their styles and co-facilitation professionalism and 'banter' are modelled so well. I am very grateful for this experience and to now be able to deliver YMHFA on behalf of my organisation, knowing I've the support and resource of the MHFA Wales team to tap into.

Absolutely loved the course and felt really empowered to gather as much knowledge as possible and to go out and share this information.

Really enjoyed this course. It was delivered in a relaxed , happy easy going manner. The instructors complemented each other. Loved Rhys's calm, professional attitude and behaviour. It is clear that a lot of work has gone on behind the scenes prior to offering a course of this high standards. Well done both!

I thoroughly enjoyed the training and look forward to helping spread the MHFA model to upskill other professionals to support young people in a crisis.
