Good pace and variety to the content of each evening of training. Great idea to be able to do some modules remotely prior to each training. Many thanks.

best CPD I've done at this place. The MHFA materials, website and resources (manual; videos) were fantastic. Great user interface, even for technophobes like me. The literature was intelligently written and not condescending. The tutors were fun and compassionate and bright. I really enjoyed it and learnt a lot.

Really interesting and helpful course. Relevant content and a good mix of learning materials - videos, reading, interactive activities, group work etc I really enjoyed the course and feel that I have learned a lot. I liked the way we has independent study to do beforehand and the sessions were only 2 hours or so making it easy to stay engaged and focused. Layla was really knowledgeable and had a fantastic approach to the course.

This course was incredible, I am so glad I got to attend. As someone who has suffered various mental illnesses throughout my life and considers myself open minded and able to talk about this topic, I can say it has completely broadened my approach and thoughts. It has helped me to remove the blocks I had previously in being direct in asking someone if they were feeling suicidal for example. Dave sharing his story so openly really helped me with this, I learnt so much from him. He delivered the course content in such an open, non judgemental way and his passion and feelings on the subject were so evident. The world needs more Daves and more people completing this course! As a result of attending the course I feel equipped to embrace this and begin providing support and resources in our workplace and to those I may meet in general. I am a module in to studying for a psychology with counselling degree as a mature student and what I learnt on the course has taught me so much that has and will continue to help my understanding as I progress through the course. It has also made me more determined than ever to complete it and use it to help others. I feel that Dave should be given recognition for what he brings to the MHFA course. He is an absolute asset to MHFA Wales and St Johns Wales. Thank you so much, Amanda.
