Both Sophie and Llinos delivered an excellent course; I have gained more knowledge and understanding of mental health illness and had opportunity to explore the ALGEE strategy. We revisited this many times over the 2 days with differing case studies where it was helpful to talk through and apply the ALGEE plan and I feel confident that I could apply mental health first aid if required. I would highly recommend this course.

The course was really informative and was really well paced. The instructors and the group of participants gave a real insight into people they have worked with and come across in their lives, which enriched the learning experience. I would highly recommend!

Nick is extremely knowledgable and engaging. He puts across the content well, encourages group discussion, and is very supportive. The exercises were very useful, requiring us to consider how we would put the processes into practice.

A well designed, well taught course that was extremely thorough and enlightening. I enjoyed it immensely and feel I have a well round tool kit for use within my practice.

I really enjoyed the course and I learned a lot, plus have lots of resources now to read up on afterwards. The videos and examples really helped to remember some of the points. I'd definately recommend this to any scouter or parent infact..

Andrew is an excellent instructor with lots of knowledge on all the areas we discussed, he used his own experiences which was a great help in understanding how as mental health first aiders we can assist with those in mental health crises. I feel a lot more confident after completing the training and I hope to make a positive impact on those who are struggling.
