Steve was very knowledgeable, we were able to ask questions as and when they came to us. He provided time after each session when we had a break if anyone wanted to stay and chat about anything that may have been sensitive to us personally or that we were affected by. I really enjoyed the course, I found it was well planned and I like it was split over 2 days

Laura and Kim were very informative and ensured everyone felt comfortable at all times. The ALGEE has given me knowledge on how to approach someone in a kind and effective manor

Really good course to give you the confidence to handle situations - realising its OK to ask the difficult questions

Excellent course with a great tutor. Carly made it all very easy to follow and there were lots of opportunities for discussion.

Excellent course; lots of new material. Plenty of positive reinforcement & feel much more confident about providing MHFA.

An excellent and enjoyable course. All points were covered thoroughly but nothing was dragged out.A well-paced course.

I feel better equipped to deal with issues regarding mental health. I was somewhat expecting some "magic" solutions that would solve all the issues, but it became clear most of the training is basic common sense. I liked the course but the massively wide scope of all the different mental health issues and the ability to spot these i feel is somewhat a minefield and a 2 day training course will struggle to address all of this.
