this course has helped myself to understand more how differently you can help someone without being too involved Anne and Stephen was great explaining different scenarios and how you can put the algee into action thank you both for all your info .

I found this course really interesting and really enjoyed applying ALGEE to scenarios and the discussions that followed. I hope that I keep access to the MHFA Manual in the future, but would really like a hard copy to refer to. The resources and experiences shared by Steve were very valuable and I feel far better equipped to deal with a case of crisis or emergency MHFA in the future. However, I do feel like this was just touching me feet into the water and would value any further training that could be offered, especially face to face rather than online.

David is obviously passionate about the subject and that came through in the delivery. The course could be slightly longer as it felt a little rushed towards the end to fit the schedule

Found the course useful and interesting, feel much more comfortable talking to someone about mental health issues. Found some of the PowerPoints less engaging but the lectures on zooms were very good. Feel comfortable working as part of a team in the organisation to deliver support, I would feel more confident recognising issues that would require referring an individual to seek a GP or other professional support.

We paid for the elearning course which was the same cost as attending the face to face course. We had to purchase the manual even though if we were face to face we would have been given one. Given the cost is the exact same and hours of training is less it is reasonable to expect the manual to be issued and not charged @ £15 each
