Thnks Jacqui, such a shame not to be able to do it in person, but such is life. I found it hard going but not because of the delivery - just the subject matter combined with hours of Zoom. Appreciated your wisdom, experience and manner.

The webinars were great, Cathy was very approachable, kind and delivered the material well. She approached the subjects sensitively and allowed time for rest and reflection. Having access to the manual is also very handy and will have that saved to my phone for future referencing. Modules were a little difficult to access through mobile and accidentally skipped through and had to go back. Otherwise, very informative and opened up great discussions in the group.

I thought it was very insightful and helpful regarding how to be helpful for those in crises, for various mental health reasons. I loved the breakout room sessions, and how we werne't always paired with the same people - it gave us a chance to discuss more informally and get to know people better. I found the mental health manual really helpful and will continue to use it moving forward. I would've loved for the course to have been in person but understand that current context doesn't allow.

The content of the course was very good and the book covered each topic extensively if you chose to read further. I feel there could have been a few more “best practice” examples with some of the scenarios to drive home the ALGEE methodology and the videos could have shown an example of a young person resisting help & how to work through that situation.

Fantastic course with lovely bunch of people i really enjoyed all aspects of this course but I did feel we could have had a session/day on each subject and learnt more strategies and approaches from each other and the tutor. I would highly recommend this course but think maybe more online sessions or even better face to face sharing and learning. also maybe a platform to reach out after the course has finished if we wanted support from the group. Well done and keep up the great training

An extremely beneficial course delivered by friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate people - thank you! My ratings of 4 stars for the course is only due to the fact it was delivered via Teams, not my preferred learning and interacting method; I was unable to attend the in person training. My other ratings reflect my lack of confidence and experience of situations, and are not from a critical stance.
