Response: Many thanks Oliver, I'm pleased that you enjoyed the training. Thank you for your involvement.

Brilliant course that has really helped me respond better to mental health emergencies. Both tutors were great listeners and kind, and I feel everyone should do this course, for its insight in helping recovery.

This was my second refresher of the MHFA course so I have been familiar with the content for a number of years. Having been able to put into practice several aspects covered on the course I can completely advocate for the approach and topics covered over the two days. Steve is an excellent trainer, sharing insight from his own experiences and encouraging others, if comfortable to share too. The content is sensitive and so the constant reminder in all scenarios to remain non-judgmental was well placed to ensure we provide the right support to someone in need of MHFA.

The scenario's could be improved as don't really match with what we deal with on a daily.

I feel experienced in this area due to working in this field for over 20 years, however it is always benefical to have a refresher about how to deal with certain situations as indidivuals needs are increasingly more complex.
