Excellent course and materials too had to deal with a 5 year old with psychosis the following day who was complaining of eyes coming out of the wall to her. Got her in to see OPTHALMOLOGIST consultant - eyes NAD so then admitted to paediatrics for their referral to MH.

Really good training, very informative and I feel much more confident in how to assist someone with mental health.

This was extremely concise , constructive and engaging training session. It has also made me more aware of my influence over my staff, especially the switching off and taking time for myself which is something I do not currently do.

Enjoyable content and as a manager one that is becoming more relevant across all generations within the workplace and not something considered historically !

An absolutely fantastic course which was a real eye opener. Our instructor was very knowledgeable and very compassionate towards the discussions which were brought up by attendees of the course. The only issue I found was that there was quite a lot of content to cover which possibly would have been better over three days. In addition, due to the nature of the course, I would have preferred it to run towards the end of the working week as it took myself and some other attendees a day to readjust emotionally afterwards. Despite this I would highly recommend this course to anyone MHFA or not.

Thank you to John for an excellent course. Very well run, interesting content and discussion. I learned an awful lot, and would recommend the course to anyone.

I am significantly more informed about mental health and benefitted from the real life examples and knowledge sharing as part of the group. I have learnt a lot in two days.
