The course exceeded what I expected. I was worried it would be heavy and a little dark but it was delivered in an informative and positive way. I feel really good and prepared and a lot more confident to deal with people that may be suffering with poor mental health. The environment the course was delivered also helped with the general feel of the course, I felt comfortable discussing difficult topics and appreciate the effort Debbie and Kelli put into this. I would highly recommend this course to all. Thank you!

I feel it was great. It did skim the top of mental health BUT this is not a course for us to become professionals. It’s so we know how to deal with a situation as it arises, it’s for us to sign post the individuals to the correct professionals. I did enjoy the course. Well delivered. We do use these skills on a daily basis anyway but with having this training I do feel I am a lot better equipped to deal with a situation if it arises. And I feel personally that I have been doing things on the right track and not wrong.

The course was very well presented by knowledge staff and very interactive which helped to solidify my knowledge on the topic. The course providers organised tea and coffee which was a lovey touch! Thank you.

I feel that as an ESA dealing with Young adults with mental health problems, I have already had to deal with some of the the scenarios raised in the training. However, I have learned about new siguations and the correct way to deal with situations. I have really enjoyed the learning, benefitted from the knowledge and experience of others on the course. I've also been reminded what a great team I work with. The trainers were great, and the content and materials were excellent. Thank you. 🙂

I recently completed the two-day Mental Health First Aid course, and I am thoroughly impressed with the experience. Claire and Natasha have been fantastic instructors and facilitators. Their knowledge, empathy, and engaging teaching methods made the complex topics accessible and relatable. They created a supportive and interactive learning environment, encouraging participation and fostering a deep understanding of mental health issues and first aid techniques. I now feel more confident in my ability to assist others with mental health challenges, thanks to their exceptional guidance. This course is invaluable, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to make a positive impact in their community. Thank you, Claire and Natasha, for an enlightening and empowering experience!

I had a great time during this course. For someone who struggles with ADHD, I was able to stay engaged the whole time due to Claire’s delivery and variety of methods. I am much more confident now in putting this into action and being a useful support to somebody in need. Thank you :)
