This was a a brilliant and informative course. Having an instructor who has training and knowledge of our industry was invaluable as what we come up against in theatre can be very different to other establishments and workplaces. I believe this course gave us the language tools and information to be better prepared to have these conversations and in time I will feel more confident. I do feel that I need to go over my workbook and do some self guided learning before I will feel completely ready to offer assistance in some circumstances. Perhaps a follow up written/online knowledge test would be good?
Fantastic course really engaging and brutally honest. Really opened my eyes to the issues discussed and made me more self aware. Has given me the tools to assist if someone needs support both in the workplace and beyond. Katie and Beth have been fantastic mentors in delivering this sensitive program.
