I think this course is essential for everyone that works with children.
Very good course - recommended. Victoria and Gail were very thorough and ensured that we were fully aware of all knowledge and trained to use ALGEE method to signpost all Young People to seek and gain correct support regarding their Mental Health First Aid to use in Powys Services. Excellent delivery and knowledge of trainer. Sensitively handled and very approachable :) Case study/real world exercises very useful for knowing how to apply it - more of these! And the mindfulness exercise was very helpful for balancing the heaviness of the content.
Loved the course Nic was brilliant, maybe a few more scenarios practically would be useful to see how Nic would deal with them as the professional but I know it’s always hard to get people to participate

Really enjoyed the course. Learned so much more about mental health issues. Paul and Ellender were amazing, not only in funning the course but with helping with my own mental health throughout. The whole group were fantastic and very supportive.
An excellent course to take whether you are interested in your own mental health or assisting others with theirs. The study from home modules were a great way to learn at my own pace & to have time to process the information while the webinars were perfect for sharing thoughts with others & gaining some well presented extra perspectives. I feel I have learned valuable insight into the topics which we have covered & have an excellent foundation for further education moving forward.
