I think humour is important, and helpful when settling people in to a potentially 'difficult' conversation around this subject and Alastair was welcoming and his jokes weren't too bad ;) I felt that a psychologically safe space was created which enabled people to share as appropriate - Alastair managed this aspect well and highlighted the parameters of the session and to be mindful (for the individual) of what they may or may not wish to share). People were encouraged into the conversation and it was good to have a mix of Alastair's input, video, discussion and writing stuff down to engage in.

Break out rooms and small group discussions can provide more interaction from those attending. Time consuming asking everyone on the group about why they were attending?? Personally I prefer more interaction than listening :-)
