The trainee was very effective. She ensured each slide was understood before moving on. She made sure everyone was engaged and added videos to show exactly what is being explained, which will help me manage the situation with my clients better. I thoroughly enjoyed the session and glad i signed up for the training.

Pros and Cons of virtual training delivery especially for the Fire Service personnel like myself who are more visual and practically minded. If I had to pick, in person would be better in particular when it comes to the break out rooms and delegation of tasks. Rita was brilliant. Personally like her manner and direct feedback which she offered throughout the course and went above to get replies / comments back to everyone that submitted them. Her experience shone through and helped me understand the role we're undertaking as potential H&S advisors. The course materials were v. good and PowerPoints clear, however would be beneficial to have these sent as well so didn't need to screen shot the slides I wanted to keep for notes. The delegation of rooms and tasks could be better, but an issue of Teams / virtual delivery. I think I would have preferred doing all the NG1 work first, then spending a day or 2 solely on NG2 as opposed to mixing them in the 2nd week. Would've given more clarity and an easier flow when trying to get to grips with all the past papers. Very heavy on past papers which I liked as great way to learn and revise. However, week day home work is expected but weekend homework got left due to all the stressor reasons indicated in the course... work life balance, family time etc. Think there's an area that we need to appreciate if we're at home doing virtual learners will be doing 'home' responsibilities, kids etc and submitting home work before 7pm is challenging as that's peak household time. Another case for being in person over Virtual. I knew this would be a challenge and thrived in it. Looking forward to the exam and applying the knowledge learnt.
