The lecturer Ged, was very experienced and his knowledge of the subject was extensive. He was happy to answer any questions and had a can do attitude. The only negative with the course was the lack of switchgear on site to operate and become familiar with. A future visit to the Faraday Centre will be planned in 2022 to gain this experience. The course was arranged by CBRE and site based in London.

Think more information could’ve been put into the time allocated, more time on protection.

Some wiring details needs to be updated on diagram as adds to confusion. Paper copy of course notes should be included in the price. Both lectures delivered the course content extremely well. Course could be condensed to 4 days easily. Good variation of practical equipment.Response : Thank you for your feedback, Robert. We will look into the course contents and make sure all the information is up to date. Due to our continuous efforts to be more environmentally friendly, we have moved from offering paper copies of our course notes to having a digital version saved on a USB drive that every candidate receives during the course. The paper copies are still available to purchase at any point during the course for an additional charge.

Course material was a little difficult as was not prewarned it would be provided on usb stick, course would have also been better onsite at training centre to give more equipment to use and learn. Having said that the lecturer Ged was great, offered great support and knowledge whilst making the course as relaxed and fun as possible.

The tutor Andy was great , he had lots of industry experience to draw on to make the course as relevant as possible. The biggest problem with studying at the Faraday Centre is the temperature. It is at times uncomfortably cold and thus something really does need to be done regarding the heating. Lastly it seems the standard of food has decreased since I last studied here with no biscuits for breaks, a lesser choice of hot drinks for the machine and smaller meal sizes.

I thought this course was really well run. Plenty of time operating the switchgear. i do think that on the first day the person with the passes in the car park should make themselves more obvious. He was stood in a hi-vis coat in the middle of a carpark full of people in hi-vis.
