Despite being a bespoke course it did not really fit the operational environment under which we operate. That being said it did increase my knowledge of high voltage operations when high voltage switching is used. The questions in the exam were not really covered in the content of the lectures and as such personal study was required. This could have been made more explicit from the outset to give the candidates forewarning of the challenge they face. The questions in the paper also had a high level of ambiguity and this led to significant difficulty in interpreting what the examiner wanted as an answer.

Good course, well structured and informative. The course materials are good and gives the opportunity to be hands on with protection relays in a workshop environment.

Great introduction to relay test blocks and how to carry out various tests.

Great course for relay connection and testing. Programming of relay logic and directional testing would have been nice to learn more about
