Fantastic course, it really helped a non electrical biased SAP understand the fundamentals and principles of HV isolations. My only criticisms are that the section E&M what not clear as it was more like an SAP panel/test. For me I believe this section should have more questions on role of persons withing HV and not a memory test of our safety rules. The course realise heavily on hand writing documentation. I'm all other associate paperwork. I believe that there should be an option for some with learning difficulties like dyslexia to be able to use digital platforms like laptops or tablets to fill in paperwork as this is what would happen in our places of work. Overall a really good course and center, can not wait to come back and carry out more training with your teams.

Good over view of testing. Maybe in future larger test rig could be built including RMU’s with test accessing being used.

Good Experienced Trainer. Good facilities, will look at Protection testing training for PC Techs who work in our team.

Lots of theory this week, could be broken up with more practical 🤷🏼‍♂️ More coffee machines reqd

As organiser of the course I was very happy with the achievement of the overall objective which was to engage Faraday Centre to provide an independent, internationally recognised best-practice, training course in high voltage operational safety. Instructor was very knowledgeable and experienced which was key to gaining trainee participation which contributed significantly to the success of the 3 courses which were run. This was very valuable training for our personnel and it is intended to run similar training events in the future.

I would've liked more time practising switching exercises.
