The Faraday Centre Reviews

The course it's self was good but unfortunately did not apply to my job role. I think if I was trying to become a SAP this course would have been very beneficial and Norman was a good lecturer who is very knowledgeable. I feel EDF should have consulted the technicians before picking a course for us and asked us what we NEED to help us become better at the electrical aspects of our work. Would happily come back to the faraday centre if I was given the chance and had more beneficial course contents.

I felt like the course wasn’t relevant to what we were needing to learn. Due to our work not involving a lot HV apparatus which is what the course seemed to focus on. I feel a course with more LV testing and fault finding would be better suited for what we need and give us a better understanding of the electrical system we perform maintenance on.

Norman was a brilliant lecturer but unfortunately it was not the correct course for us. We were expecting an electrical basics course but instead it was a basic HV awareness course. The faraday centre was a good training venue and hopefully next time we can be on a course which suits us better.
