Very good course, good information, good practical.

This course is mainly practical based. There is some theory and there is a question paper at the end along with a practical assessment. As this is a refresher course, you should already be familiar with the associated theory and you are not assessed on how familiar you are with the apparatus, you will be shown how to operate it, if required. Well delivered and transparent, it's a busy 3 days with a relaxed approach. There is a vast array of equipment available and the instructors will answer any questions you have. There is also plenty of opportunity to discuss and debate issues. Would highly recommend the course and the facilities.

I think more practice low voltage testing and wiring would be great otherwise great course

Well explained course, very interesting, not easy but lecturer provided required information to pass the course and have a good understanding HV switching schedules and the safety around switching.

Interesting to see the mechanical workings of the switch gear and to get some hands on practical experience in a safe environment 👍
