Great information about teaching approaches
Good think it's definitely more beneficial to people early in careers or who haven't done a pgce recently
Good information related to education which can be used.
Very useful for exam based subjects- some good ideas for re-inforcing learning. Using quizzes, interleaving etc
Very entertaining, spread a little bit of material a long way but I enjoyed it.
The course may have been useful for trainee teachers or those looking to go in to some sort of middle management post and haven’t had any training in how people learn, however, the ideas are old and outdated and quite condescending for anyone who has been trained. The presenter managed well with the poor resources he was given, although there were many grammatical and punctuation errors on the PowerPoint.
That was really poor, and felt very condescending. The comparisons between sport and teaching were tedious, and actually started undoing some of the positives from this morning's session with Bradley Busch.
