Really good session but there was quite a few repeated models this time around like Leadership Continuum and Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. Could do with replacing these as we’ve gone through it in previous modules. Also, the pre-activity tasks I was asked to do before the session and bring to the course didn’t have any relevance to what was discussed today. For instance recruitment and selection and the steps we have in place. PDR reviews and process behind this, I think we should have definitely dived into this in more detail as it’s a core aspect to managing people. However, we mainly spoke about recognition.
Workshop was too long with too many breakout room discussions. It could have been done in 1/2 day and finished at 1:30 instead
Left it feeling extremely frustrated and disillusioned, despite being on track until this module. Too much tasks and content pushed makes it overwhelming and not SMART, resulting in obvious disengagement from the entire cohort. There seems to be an unrealistic expectation that does not take into account people still have their full time jobs to do - yet the content is delivered like it would be to a full time student.
It was a good day, thought provoking and got to meet lots of new people.
Enjoyed the day. Wasn't really looking forward to the session - but found the day worthwhile with a lot of things to consider.

I have really enjoyed todays session and took a lot away from it that I can now use as best practice in my day to day management.
