fine some useful new slide sheet available

thr course was more care home based not communities based

start of the course delayed by 25 minites due to others not being able to access the course,videos had a delay so wasnt very clear.

The term BPD is outdated. The slides need changing to say EUPD

I felt that the content was useful but everything is covered in the daily tasks undertaken.

Enjoyed physical interaction posture lifting etc

Better if more equipment available e.g pumps for people to practice on.

I would like of been offered free tea and coffee what was given on the 2nd day due to the trainer bring in her own tea and coffee but another nhsp group had tea and coffee supplied for them. No free parking and hotel was in the middle of a road about. I feel all this course could of been done with southern health learning training team like bls and the 2nd day as most of the group solo work in southern health. Not being paid for the training as I had to lose 4 days and that's not good with cost of living etc. Hoist training isn't beneficial for me as I don't work in them sites. It's a shame that the trainer is not doing this anymore due to how the training is laid out.

Course was labeled as 'mental health', however day 1 was only focused on basic life support and patient handling. Day 2 was going over information all staff attending already knew as the information was basics of the job role. The course content was almost identical to the online training I am already provided via NHSP. I would have appreciated being paid for the 2 days, as I am paid for every other training I attend, and I have missed 2 days of pay now. The location choice was unfortunate. Limited nearby parking, and very expensive parking charges. I would have appreciated having the option of a hot drink, to aid attention and focus. This is also a standard with all other training days.
