I feel that digital delivery of first aid training is inadequate. you need hands on and face to face refreshment and training to be a confident first aider. i felt the discussions led by the trainer were confusing and not useful, a significant time talking about how would you feel if someone died under your CPR delivery. we skipped very quickly over gasping and agonal breathing, which is relatively new to first aid training, and it missed very vital elements of this. The trainer laughed at one point over someone's genuine wrong answer, I feel disappointed with the course.

I don’t feel like I have gained anything from a virtual first aid course, I am more than comfortable with all the theoretical elements, it’s the practical aspects that need to be practiced to avoid skill fade

i thought the course was excellent for carers and those non clinical, however as a nurse i found it a bit basic. I also found that the facilitator just read the slides which we could of done ourselves.

Wayne the trainer was unaware of Communities and presumed as a scheme manager I was on 'big bucks' and did nothing put sit at a desk imputing data, he also presumed that the most 'exciting' part of my job involving moving and handling loads was carrying around boxes of files for archiving one a year. I found this very inappropriate, and very inaccurate.
