Very good to switch off from work for an hour, went very quickly and I think we could all benefit from doing this course regularly to remind us of the importance of mindfulness.

The action of understanding our minds autopilot and how we look at things, then to start to realise that there is a way to live in the moment and develop a wider understanding of all that is around us and how we interact with it, both physically and emotionally. Mindfulness is a journey that could be life changing to assist and appreciate and become aware of our emotions and surroundings. I hope to continue the journey to explore a greater understanding of it.

Really well managed and helpful course. I have been interested in mindfulness for a while, but the course really gave me a deeper understanding. Catherine is a great facilitator, she is such a good listener, encouraging and supportive. I would highly recommend.

A really fab course, thank you Catherine! I wasn’t sure I’d enjoy the online version but I thought it was so well done. Everyone had an opportunity to speak if they wished to and no one person ever dominated; it was extremely well managed. Loved having the paper booklet too as it gave me a focus each week. So glad I was able to participate in the ‘in person’ retreat day and despite my anxieties about it maybe being too long for me, it whizzed by and was thoroughly enjoyable. I really do feel I have the tools to help me now and definitely look forward to a much calmer and hopefully relaxed, me! Thank you.

The course has been incredibly helpful to me and several people close to me have said what a difference they have noticed. I was nervous about shining a light on some aspects of the way I manage and process things but I stepped out of my comfort zone and it has really paid off. Catherine's style was reassuring and easy to follow, it felt like a positive non threatening thing to be doing. I'm so grateful and have been implementing strategies I've learned nearly every day.

Mindful Surrey (Catherine) presented an hour-long “Introduction to Mindfulness” session for our employees to give a bit of an overview about what Mindfulness is/how it originated, but more importantly, how we could incorporate it into our daily lives to better support our wellbeing and resilience. I left the session feeling so relaxed, and have managed to incorporate some of the tools I learnt during the session into my daily life in the days that have since followed! Thank you!

Dorking

The course was a great learning experience for me. Catherine was wonderful. I feel so much more aware now and have the mental tools to draw on to help me through potentially stressful situations.
