Really informative into mental health and how to recognise factors of mental health that we may not see

This was, by far, the best session I've attended in a long time. It was full of eye-openers and light bulb moments which have made so many things make sense! One example being, it had always frustrated me that the notion of what you give out to the universe, is what you get back - as we can't control the weather, parking, bad events, so I have always viewed it as things happen to us, tough luck! I now see that if I start out thinking I'm going to have a bad day, I'll go looking for evidence to back that theory up - thus, having a bad day! Regardless of any positive or good things happening that day that I'm likely to miss or not notice. I realise now it's about mindset - this thing people have been talking about for so long now, yet I could never fully understand how or why! This session made it all make sense from a science perspective. Honestly, brilliant! Thank you!

the training was really useful. I learnt a lot about myself and started to think of ways of changing the way I think and act, and also paying attention to the language used around mental health.

It would be more helpful to have information about work policies and official guidelines for schedules considering getting enough sleep is probably the single most impactful thing we can do to maintain good health.Sleep deprivation has as such high impact on many aspects of health and safety .You can do all the good practices and techniques in the world but if the schedule doesn't factor in enough time for 7-8 hours sleep between two shifts it's ultimately a long term problem.what can you do without back up from a solution from employer's taking it seriously?
