Great refresher course for first aid. Practical and theoretical
We recently completed the Basic Life Support 2-hour training with Surrey First Aid Training on 24 June 2026, led by Brendan, and found it very well delivered and valuable. The session was split into two groups of 15 staff, which worked well and allowed plenty of time for hands-on practice. Brendan explained everything clearly and ensured everyone had the opportunity to take part and build confidence with the techniques. He was calm, patient, and supportive throughout, creating a relaxed and engaging learning environment. Overall, as a practice, we feel more confident in our ability to respond effectively in an emergency.
Good course great instructor and lots of advice and practical information
The first day felt a little slow however the information given was necessary and informative. I really enjoyed the more practical element, the forest school scenarios were so useful!
Very informative, nice to refresh my knowledge
Would like hand outs, fewer anecdotes. Confusion over when course ended, sign up said 1700.
