I understand the importance of recognising signs of mental health problems, offering appropriate support and also reducing the sigma associated with mental well-being. The training emphasizes the need for active listening, empathy and creating a space for individuals to express their challenges.
A little disjointed, it would be worth teaching the recovery position earlier and discuss manual handling. you cant rely on common sense as its not as common as you may think!
Very informative on updates that have occurred
The course was very informative and interesting Stephen delivered the information clearly and was more than happy to answer questions and revisit topics.
The trainer was exceptional and had very good knowledge. Thank you
Danny seemed knowledgeable. He was very friendly and easy going.
Outside venue is required if advertised as a forest school first aid course
A good first aid course. However, frustrating that the course was not in an outdoor setting. However, I really appreciated that Danny did manage to get us outside on the grass verge as much as possible for scenarios. It would be beneficial if the trainer has had some experience of Forest School settings prior to delivering the training to.fully understand the challenges faced. Danny was very accomodating and interesting and pleased he adapted where possible to get us a but outside.
