Derek was brilliant. The content was impressive and seemed comprehensive in terms of dealing with potentially life-threatening situations, but seemed to leave out some things which are perhaps deemed too obvious, like how to tie a head bandage, The admin was lousy. I didn't receive a pre-course inal briefing (with essential info about how to get to Merrist Hill) until the evening before. I didn't receive the pre-course handout that others did.

Going through medical emergency drugs, asthma, epilepsy, diabetes etc would also be helpful

Kyrie was very clear, warm and friendly making a serious subject enjoyable

Great practical session. Very hands on and useful.

It was a helpful day overall. Very pleasant trainer and broad content. Food for thought about how we implement what we have learned and take it forward from here
