I learnt from the course exactly what I believed it would give me prior to attending. I think the group were excellent and well managed by Dan and everyone's experiences helped the learning experience. I have a better understanding of individual cases which demonstrated anyone going through this mental health episode could present themselves differently but eventually it could lead to the same outcome and anyone who has received intervention finished with a positive outcome.

Really useful course, I've learned that in that situation its better to sit back and listen as opposed to jumping in and trying to fix things which would be my natural reaction.

I feel this was presented well and learned some suppressing information which is really good to know and would have not had though first.

The course was very well delivered and Nell was a great tutor and encouraged involvement in the group discussions. The course has taught me more skills and confidence in talking to and supporting people with suicide.

Very good course, I joined wanting to extend my knowledge and feel more confident when discussing the topic and have left feeling exactly that. A very good tutor and informative course.

Very good training on a difficult topic, making us all feel more confident with addressing a topic that can be hard to bringing up and seeing the signs to take the first steps to talking to anyone. Group discussions allowed all those on the course to share any experience making it more beneficial.
