Really empathic trainer. Really useful. I used to work in mental health and have done suicide awareness training a few times but still learned a lot today. Thank you.
Very informative and good to be able to hear so many other perspectives about the topic. I've learned a lot about how I should be approaching the situation and how I should communicate.
It was great to discuss openly + safely this topic, particularly in a group, which is a rarity with the stigma still surrounding suicide. Thank you Jade again for facilitating the session, everything was clearly explained to us.
Pleased to have had the opportunity to attend the session. Tough topic, sensitive and very challenging. Learnt so much, thank you.
I thought the course ran at the right pace, over the right amount of time. It allowed sufficient time for discussion, questions and sharing of experiences. Despite a slightly later start than anticipated, we managed to cover the full course content without it feeling rushed. I felt we were given a lot of useful resources.
First time having to join in a suicide first aid training and I'd say I enjoyed the presentation to the latter. It was made so simple for easy assimilation.
The course was an excellent window into a very complex subject. as it was addressing faith groups it would be useful to ask before hand what specific issues they might be dealing with and to explore those areas further as an additional exercise.
Glad I attended, gave me more awareness of the signs to watch out for and how to 'start a conversation'
