The course that Kasia led equipped me with valuable knowledge how to prevent suicide. I gained information about various strategies, techniques and tips on how to speak with a person in need and how to create a safety route for them.
Interesting course and brought awareness and confidence in being able to openly say this to someone I was worried about Also didn’t know someone more likely to die who doesn’t intend to as result of less support for them
The course has strengthened my understanding of suicide prevention and given me practical tools to recognize risk, respond safely and support individuals in crisis. It has improved my confidence in having difficult converstions.
It was a great course and very insightful. It was well-structured and illustrative to give an understanding of the content and similarly engaging to invoke a thoughtful process.
I feel more confident now to approach CYP. Especially liked "notice what you noticed". The course really makes me reflect on the everyday conversations with CYP and the difficulties they might go through.
