A great course, very informative and sensitivly delivered conisdering the subject matter.I would absolutely recommend this course.
After this course, I genuinely feel better qualified and far more confident should the situaton arise.
Great job Alison! Loved your easy-going style and the way you kept things moving. I'm really glad I was able to join this training.
You need to have a proper break after this session it’s hard hitting
A really important course that has gave me a invaluable insight into helping others who may be thinking about suicide.
Really good course, would recommend to others, well presented. I feel the workbook wasn’t used much, and personally think an aide memoire would be more beneficial to create and send. Really impressed with the course, kept me engaged.
Really got a lot out of the course, not being from a health care `background, but having lost a close friend when I was young I wanted to know more and I felt this filled in all the gaps in my knowledge and even tho this is not something I come across in my work I definitely more confident on this topic and thank you for the course. A lot of people are touched by this subject.
These sorts of courses should be mandatory, not just for call assessors and supervisors, but all grades of staff both clinical and non-clinical. The ambulance service should be leading the way into implementing these courses to all staff
