I think this training should be integrated into training across WAST. There is very little information made available to staff on this topic and this has opened up the topic in a safe and accessible and informative way.
I would like to see this be rolled out to the whole of WAST as it is a subject we don’t know enough about.
Well run short form training session given the breadth of the subject around suicide and suicide prevention. A good addition and top up to what I had learnt previously more generally as a MHFA
A tough topic to discuss, but was executed well
Overall an excellent, very informative and very important subject to learn about. Has given me more understanding and confidence when/if dealing with an individual feeling suicidal
Very enjoyable. It helped me to have a deeper understanding about suicide.
The course was useful and pitched at the right level for me.
