I feel this course has given me a better understanding of suicide, I feel that i would have more confidence to ask and approach the issue with someone now than i would have before the course.

Overall the course ran smoothly was done really well with lots of breaks as it was a heavy subject. Tutor Ian was great with explaining in depth the theory and practicality behind suicide and the signs, was very helpful with helping me understand more so I am able to if needed to use the skills

Thought provoking

I always have an urge to "fix" things. It was incredibly useful to know that in these complicated scenarios, it's not about fixing but about listening and helping the person in crisis to cope.

I found this has helped to boost my confidence with dealing with suicidal customers.

An informative day that provides a structure with which to conduct these conversations, but in a way that allows human connection.

Really great course. I feel as though I have much more confidence within the topic and feel ready to use this within my setting. Kevin was amazing! :)
