I enjoyed the role play and on the use of "PAUSE"
Opened my eyes to a topic which is usually considered taboo in our society and which as a firefighter we encounter, with someone threatening suicide or has actually gone through with it (suicide).
This was really helpful and informative and I feel a lot more confident in my ability to have a conversation with someone about suicide
I haven't been on such an engaging course in a long time. Fully appreciated the calm presence of Olivia on such an emotive topic. Felt totally supported and valued. I will definitely be using these skills and asking questions.
