Very good informative course

The session was not what I expected, i expected to be taught more about what we can do for people ourselves, not just referring them on. There is very limited access to mental health support in wales and the waiting lists are long, even if we do notice the signs we are not always able to get help for weeks. I think more suicided awareness training should be available for call handlers, especially 111 as we are only taught barley the basics on what to say when people call us straggling with self harm etc

Great course and tutor. I learnt more than I thought I would. It has given me a much better understanding of others behaviours and signs.

A difficult subject to make 'fun' to study, but struck the right tone.

Very good training session that made me feel more reassured in talking about suicide and to people who are having suicidal thoughts and what to do.
