Really useful resources, I feel more equipped to deal with situations involving suicide or opening up a conversation with someone who may be struggling

I volunteer for a suicide prevention charity and it was helpful to me to get another perspective of this topic. The work within the charity the visitors are there to talk about the suicidal thoughts and feeling. this course was helpful because it teaches about recognising the signs when having a MHFA conversation and the appropriate handling of those conversations.

I liked that we made a group commitment at the beginning. Introductions also very helpful. Tutor has a very good knowledge base and experience.
