This was a well thought-out course that gave an insightful look at how to deliver SFAUSI with confidence. The tutors were engaging and gave us all the knowledge that we required to be able to teach the necessary skills.

A well paced course with a real opportunity to be able to discuss the subject matter openly. I feel much more prepared to deal with suicide.

Think any conversation around suicide is hard, but I do think we need to become more confident with talking about it. Could potentially save more lives.

Really enjoyed the course and made me think differently about how to interact with somebody thinking about suicide. It was really nice at the end to go back and review what we thought and what we would take away and now do differently. Debbie was lovely and very engaging.

Extremely useful and informative session - definitely interested in going the full day course now. One tiny thing I spotted - in the slide that explained step 3 - the word desperation was incorrectly spelt. I am terrible for spotting mistakes in things.......

This course really helped me to see that it is ok to talk about suicide and that the tools that we can use are the same ones we would employ to talk to people about other issues they may be facing in life. It gave me more confidence that I would be able recognise and to support someone if they were having thoughts of suicide.
