This was a really wonderful introductory first aid course. It had many powerful and thought provoking moments. I think I learned a lot and feel I am better prepared to respond and notice if someone required support.

The course has shown me due to my personal experiences of suicide that l need to think about my language it has also shown me that l do need to talk to someone about my feelings .l have directly been affected by four suicides including finding my own mother dead and finding out a my foster mother had hanged herself .My daughter has been sectioned and this course has given me an understanding that my daughter is very likely to succeed if released so has guided me in my decisions regarding her care.
